Privacy notice

Atlas House is a discreet British lifestyle management company. This notice explains what happens to personal information in connection with this website and with any contact you have with us. We are the data controller. You can reach us at info@atlashouse.uk.
The short version
This website has no contact form, no login and no account system. It does not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else. The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to send us directly, by email or by message.
When you contact us
If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we hold that correspondence and any details you include in it, so that we can reply and, if you become a client, so that we can arrange what you have asked us to arrange.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where you go on to engage us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your information to anybody.
Messages sent by WhatsApp
WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us. Messages you send us through WhatsApp travel through their service and are handled under their own privacy terms as well as this notice. If you would prefer that we correspond only by email, tell us and we will.
This website
The site is built and hosted on Framer. Framer sets a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to serve the site, and its servers keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses, which are used for security and to keep the site running. Where site analytics are enabled, they are aggregated and are not used to identify individual visitors. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Sharing
If you engage us, we will sometimes need to pass details to the suppliers arranging a particular part of your plans, such as an operator, a broker or a residence. We share only what that supplier needs to know, only when it is necessary to do what you have asked, and only with suppliers we know personally. Nothing else about you goes anywhere. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep things
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we are working together and for six years afterwards, which is the period we may need them for tax and legal purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to info@atlashouse.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would be grateful for the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Any substantial change will be explained here rather than slipped in quietly.
